Woke up at 5:40 am this morning to do some maths. I prefer this way over staying up later at night and doing it. My class schedule this semester forced me into staying up late every night and sleeping past 8am. Hated that!
Summer Travels
Once school is done, I am off to Russia for two weeks. It will be nice to visit my babooshka (grandmother) after so many years. It’s been around 5 years now I think. Going to definitely visit St. Petersburg, but maybe not for too long. I really am yearning to travel, but my babooshka is old and I think it is most important to spend time with her while I can. It’s sad that we live in different continents. Anyway, while I am there will be able to practice my Russian with her. I really need to improve! Just quite too rusty.
Morning Tea
I love a nice cup of tea in the morning. I usually drink without sugar; it is unhealthy anyway. I am acquiring a liking to adding a drop of milk to my tea nowadays.
Chai tea, which just sounds like tea tea to my because “chai” means “tea” in Russian, has an interesting taste… reminds me a bit of the Christmas Holidays.
